Recursive Loop Eliminated
This is just to clear up a point of confusion from my previous post. Those who went to the subscribe page on MichaelPrewitt.com may have found a link encouraging them to subscribe to my Xanga blog — although I like to keep my friends "in the loop," that wasn't the kind of loop I had in mind! That was an old link, and I hope it didn't confound anyone. It has since been removed.

Moving
My Xanga blog is coming to an end. To continue receiving my blog posts, please visit my regular home page, MichaelPrewitt.com. I am expanding that site, and this Xanga blog stands to be discontinued.
The main feed at MichaelPrewitt.com will contain a variety of posts, encompassing all of my interests and my personal blog. You can subscribe by e-mail, or by RSS. The RSS link is feed://michaelprewitt.com/feed/. To subscribe by e-mail, visit http://michaelprewitt.com/subscribe/. Subscribing (and unsubscribing) is super easy; all you need is an e-mail address.
If you don't care about the goings-on in my personal life, or my art, or photos, or hobbies — basically if you're saying, "Come on, Michael, your Xanga blog is okay, 'cuz you don't water it down with all that personal junk ... but I never said I wanted to be friends" — then you may wish to consider the following mini-blogs:
For my theological and various other Christian posts, visit http://michaelprewitt.com/category/christian/ (RSS: feed://michaelprewitt.com/category/christian/feed/).
For my health and lifestyle related posts, visit http://michaelprewitt.com/category/health/ (RSS: feed://michaelprewitt.com/category/health/feed/).
PLEASE NOTE: The reason there is not much content at these links is because I recently switched to new blogging software, and thus I am starting over from scratch. You can expect new posts to come regularly. ALSO, the Christian and health posts are included in the main blog linked above; there is no need to check all three feeds if you follow my main blog.
I haven't decided whether there is any further use for Xanga, but I will probably not be giving this blog much more attention. (I do plan to keep up with my friends who are using Xanga.)
Best regards,
Michael

FDA issues rules for genetically modified animals
Quoting from article on Reuters:"Many kinds of genetically engineered animals are in development, although none has yet been approved by the agency for marketing," said FDA Deputy Commissioner Randall Lutter.
Foods produced from some bioengineered animals will not have to be labeled, FDA said. The agency is inviting public comment on its proposals and could modify them before they become final....
"It is incomprehensible to us that FDA does not view these animals as different from their conventional counterparts," said Jean Halloran, director of food policy initiatives at Consumers Union.

Last Generation Theology, Part 3 (sort of)
Several people have responded to my previous post about Last Generation Theology, and I have responded to them. One of the dialogs is quite long ... about as long as the original post, or maybe longer. The main topic of that exchange is, "Does grace include power to live a sanctified life?" It's an important aspect of LGT, so you may wish to check it out. (Scroll down to the comments section.)
